Control Room Designer - A – Dillsburg

Control Room Designer
Description/Typical Tasks:
1. Work with utility customers to develop control room specific designs.
2. Interview customers project team (executive management, supervisors, operators, etc)
3. Analyze design parameters and apply human factors (man-machine interface) to drawing layouts.
4. Design control room systems and ancillary systems (lighting, flooring, ceiling, power, security, etc).
5. Compile design submittal documents, including executive level reports, drawings, cutsheets, specifications, and physical examples.
Minimum Requirements
1. Relevant work experience. (3-5 year minimum experience requested)
2. Good Communications Skills and Customer Relations Skills.
3. Ability to manage multiple design projects at once.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications. (Excel, Word, Outlook,etc)
5. Ability to read mechanical, construction and electrical drawings and plans.
6. Good Mechanical Aptitude.
7. Experience designing mechanical systems into commercial buildings.
8. Experience working with architects, engineers, construction firms and commercial facilities departments.
